What the guides are
Vehicle Paperwork Desk publishes general, research-based explanations of vehicle paperwork processes — titles, liens, lien releases, payoff, duplicate titles, and the administrative side of repossession. Guides cite state and federal sources, but title and lien law and DMV/MVD procedure differ by state and change over time.
